“What’s in a name?” mused William Shakespeare in 1597.  To paraphrase him, we could have named our company after ourselves or something exotic-sounding but opted to keep it simple.  London Block Management is who we are and what we do and defines the essence of our business.

 

Block management is a straightforward business at its heart.  Communication, maintenance and accounts are at the heart of everything we do and we focus on doing each as well as possible. 

 

We are an independent medium-sized firm, still run by the four individuals who started the company in 2009.  We are surrounded by an excellent team and spend a considerable amount of time looking for like-minded people to join us.  One of our most recent recruits summed up the ethos recently, saying “I want to be an LBM lifer too…”.

 

We are also careful about which clients and buildings we work with.  The market is littered with war stories of failed client relationships, agents over-stretching themselves and high staff turnover and burnout.  We take a step back and have always grown organically and sustainably – one client at a time - and matching staff to client growth.  You will want to interview us.  Equally important is that we ascertain whether you are a good fit for us.  We turn away most enquiries.  This has meant that we have ended up with a portfolio of premium buildings and clients who we genuinely work well with.  This in turn means our team enjoy their job and get satisfaction from making a difference to you.
